My Story
When I am creating anything, I think of the three initials that are S.L.R. which stand for Stop, Look & Remember and that is my goal with the viewer of my work.
I started Loner 17 Designs in just about the same
time I graduated from school. The way I came
up with the name and logo was pretty much by coincidence. Over the years, I had collected many strange, odd and unique range of photos, another passion of mine has always been Photography and one day, as I was going thru them I noticed this photo of a lone plane in the cloudy sky that I had taken at the El Toro Air Show in Tustin California
many years ago and once saw it, I knew that this was going to be my Freelance logo. After that,
I just needed a name.
I came up with the name Loner because I felt it described the photo well. A lone plane lost in this dark and uncertain sky with a small glimps of sun to give hope on the long journey. The number 17 is my birthday which has always been a lucky number for me, while being my fathers birthday as well and also the day I started Loner 17 Designs, September 17, 2005. That’s pretty much it, just a guy who takes
one design at a time... but with a passion.
